-August 28th 3:33am-

Greetings and salutations.  Well, we've been blessed with more shows as of lately, and we are very grateful.  Last weekend we played at the Gathering Place for a 2nd time on Friday with Sandpaper Straight Jacket and Down the Sky.  It was a good show, we had fun.  We also had Bloodfest on Saturday at Camp Blood in Barneveld.  The bands Malice in Underland, the Modeles, Subpar Brakers, Plan 607, Church Destroyer and Tribal Law played.  We had a good time, all the bands put on a great show, and we were glad to have been a part of it.  We'd like to thanks Down the Sky and Malice in Underland for having us play those shows.

We've got some more shows coming up soon (check Concerts for details).  One will be at a new place in Utica, on Bleeker St.  And another will be in Elmira, although we're not sure exactly if we'll be able to make the Elmira show, we're still working it out so we will hopefully be able to play.  We also may have another show in Holland Patent with Sandpaper Straight Jacket, more details soon.  There's also a greater possibility of playing a show in Syracuse in the near future, so let's all keep our hopes up and meanwhile check out the bands Wiremouth and Through Clouded Eyes.  Here are their links:

-August 8th 10:05pm-

Welcome.  We now also have our old site back up, you can check that out at www.finalrites.moonfruit.com.  This site will still be updated and such, we've decided to keep both sites.  Josh has cut his hair, for personal and professional reasons.  His long hair head banging will be missed, but its still Josh, and it was his decision to make, and we respect that.  You should be able to see it in the new pics that will be added shortly (Thanks Justin for giving us the pics!).  We also finally got a guestbook up, so feel free to comment, and critique, and just say 'Hi' to the band.  But please, let's be mature here, no blatant abuse of our guestbook.  You're welcome to your opinions, please just use it wisely.

Our show at the Butterfield House in Holland Patent went well.  A decent turnout, mostly friends, but still a good turnout for the 1st show there ever.  We had fun, and we'd like to thanks our brothers in Synical Blame and Mr. Dink for joining us.  Everybody put on a great show.  Hopefully we'll see some more shows there in the future, being that Kayla, a close friend of the band, her dad owns the place.  Thanks a bunch Kayla for putting on the show!

We just got back from our 2nd show at Marc's barn.  It was fun, and we'd like to thank King Dump for having us play there again.  The turnout was good, and everyone had fun.  We'll always look forward to rocking out in a barn with our friends and fans.  Unfortunately Gary Of The Eye could not make it in whole, but it was still a good show.  Thanks Marc and King Dump!

As for the future, we have some potential shows coming up.  The Hardcore fest for August 16th was unfortunately changed to an evening show, so we as well as other bands we dropped off the play list.  On the 22nd of August we should be playing with Devils Discipline and Sandpaper Jacket, more details to come.  We've also been invited to play a Metalfest in ?Munnsville? perhaps in September, more details when we get 'em.  We'd also like to play one last show with Deadlock before the end of August, and with it the departure of Nick, vocalist for Deadlock.  Nick, you will be missed.

We're still working on our material and finalizing it for the demo.  Please be patient with us, we just want it sound good.  We just want you

to be able to appreciate it when its finished.  Keep supporting your local musicians, until next time.

-July 14th 9:36pm-

Sorry it's been so long since we've updated.  Everyone's been busy with getting or maintaining jobs, working on the demo, and personal

business.  We're sorry to say that the demo won't be out for a little while, as we have decided to concentrate on defining our sound more, and spending more time on writing songs.  We realized we were rushing through things, and had a lot of issues that needed to be cleared up.  The band talked about things, and figured out what direction we're heading and that more time needs to be taken on writing new material.  (Recording is being done by Nova Lex, check out their site in the links section for more info on them, and some excellent remixes of Soilwork and Deadlock)

However, we can say this, we are definitely going to try and have it ready by mid-August.  You'll see in the Concert section that we're going to be playing the Binghamton Hardcore Fest on the 16th, and we'd like to have it ready by then.  As for any other merchandise, we need to take time on designing stickers and patches,  you'll just have be patient and come see us at our shows until we do that.

We'd like to apologize to Deadlock and all of you for not being able to play Metal Night at Amnesia's.  In the future we'll just need to know

about any schedule changes a little more ahead of time, and we'll gladly work to accommodate.

Thanks for your support, until next time.

-June 1st 4:43pm-

The show on Saturday went pretty good, except the band Negative Being unfortunately could not make it.  We played in front of some new people, and with some different bands.  It was a good show and we had a great time.

In the middle of our set, Keegan noticed his mic was turned down, and then the rest of the band was turned down.  As it was explained to us a little bit at a time, a neighbor had called the Police about the noise level,  so some policemen came and talked to the owner.  The owner didn't want to stop us in the middle of the set, so he just had the sound guy turn us down.

We kept on playing, and everyone said we still put on a great show despite.  However, one good thing out of all this, is that we now have "Bragging Rites" because the bouncer said he's been working there for 4 years, and never once have the Police been called about the noise, even with all the heavy bands that have played there.  Besides that it was a decent turn out, and a good show.

We'd like to thank everyone for supporting the fight against Cancer, we'd like to thank Deadlock, Kontak Buzz, and the staff at Amnesia's for having us there and everyone who came to the show.  Until next time.
